International Day Against Drug Abuse

MLD Rising Star Academy observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse with the objective of educating students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promoting a healthy and responsible lifestyle.

Teachers and students actively participated in awareness activities that highlighted the physical, mental, and social consequences of drug addiction. Discussions and presentations emphasized the importance of self-control, positive thinking, strong moral values, and the courage to resist negative influences and peer pressure.

The program delivered a powerful message that awareness, education, and compassion are essential in building a drug-free society. Students were inspired to make responsible choices and understand their role in creating a safe and healthy community.

Road Safety Week

The academy also organized Road Safety Week to spread awareness about traffic rules and responsible road behavior among students. The program aimed to develop civic sense and encourage students to become responsible citizens.

Various informative and engaging activities were conducted to educate students about road safety measures, including the importance of traffic signals, zebra crossings, helmets, seat belts, and disciplined behavior on roads. Students also participated in awareness drives and took a pledge to follow road safety rules and encourage others to do the same.

The event helped students understand that road safety is a shared responsibility and inspired them to become careful pedestrians, sensible cyclists, and responsible passengers. The program successfully promoted discipline, awareness, and social responsibility, reinforcing the message that “Road Safety is Life Safety.”
